E-Business entrepreneurs are always looking for new markets, so here are a few examples of growing markets.

It is no surprise that the baby boomers will soon be retiring but what is surprising is the growth of the age 55+ populations use of the Internet. More then ever, this 55+ group are using the Internet and lots are making e-commerce purchases. Another area of growth is in the size of North Americans market. North Americans have been steadily getting larger due to the plentiful diet of food. This size increase has caused specialty market to emerge and some e-businesses are already cashing in.

This is the third e-business blog that deals with GST (HST) reduction on July 1, 2006. The GST change is rapidly approaching and the Canadian Federation of Independent Business has a pdf document called “GST/HST Rate Reduction: Checklist for Small Business“. This document has a very useful checklist to small or medium sized enterprise it will answer your question “Is your business ready for the GST/HST Rate Reduction?”
